Who We Are
L&D Global Bhubaneswar Chapter is part of a thriving national network of passionate learning and development professionals. Launched on 3rd July 2016, the chapter connects HR leaders, trainers, academicians and corporate executives dedicated to advancing learning excellence across Odisha and beyond.
We are more than a network - we are an ecosystem. A trusted circle that amplifies voices, fosters opportunity and accelerates growth through continuous collaboration, contribution and co-creation.
With a unique combination of professionals—from corporate leaders to B-school faculty, trainers and intellectuals—our 100+ registered members are united by a shared commitment to impactful learning and organizational development.
Our Journey Through Times
What began as a friendly Sunday breakfast meetup during the 2nd Rahagiri celebration in Bhubaneswar—hosted by Mr. Purna Rao at Marrion—laid the foundation for what we now know as the Bhubaneswar Chapter of L&D Global. A group of passionate, like-minded professionals including Dr. Mangesh Dash, Ms. Alkananda Swain, Mr. Arun Sahu, Mr. Muna Pal, Mr. Manoranjan, Amiya Giri, and Dr. Ashok Sahu (our first Chapter Director) came together to form the initial core team.
With a few follow-up meetings at tea stalls and conversations over the phone, the Chapter took shape and was officially launched on July 3rd, 2016 at the Nalco HRD Centre of Excellence, Bhubaneswar. Since then, we’ve grown into a vibrant family of knowledge seekers. Even during COVID-19, we adapted with online learning sessions, navigating challenges with resilience and the collective zeal to grow.
